Vista
Vista is Northern Arizona University's primary online-course delivery system. It is a client/server application, which means Vista does not need to be installed on your computer. All you need to access a Vista course is a computer, access to the Internet, and the appropriate internet browser.

Vista allows for the distribution of static content (e.g., syllabi, schedules, announcements, and lecture notes), and also provides access to interactive tools (e.g., discussions, whiteboard, live chat, and online assessments). These tools, combined with the online-assessment tools available to instructors, allow you to keep up with your workload and stay abreast of your progress in a web class. Vista lets an instructor easily organize and distribute course materials and grades in a secure environment. It also facilitates communication between the instructor and the students, as well as encouraging discussions among students.
