NAU uses Vista for web course delivery. Vista is simply a program or platform on which class information is stored. It does not need to be installed on your computer. All you need to access a Vista course is a computer, access to the Internet, the appropriate internet browser, like Internet Explorer or AOL, and your NAU User ID.

Vista is easy to use. Once you log in using your username and password, which is assigned upon admission to NAU, a list of the web courses in which you are enrolled will appear. Just select the one you want to access and the course webpage will come up. Please note that students usually cannot login to Vista until the first day of class. Each instructor designs his or her Vista page to meet the needs of the course. Let's take a look at this HUM 475C class as an example.

You can also contact your instructor using Vista email.
