Student health insurance is available to the following:

• Undergraduate students enrolled in at least 7 credit units. Seniors my enroll with fewer credits if they are in their last semester to achieve their final graduation requirements and had this insurance coverage in the prior semester.
  
• Graduate students in a degree or certificate program.
• Graduate, non-degree students must have applied to a degree program and be taking at least 6 transferable units, be in a certificate program taking at least 3 units, OR be a full-time student taking at least 9 units.
  
• International students are automatically enrolled and premiums are posted to the student's account at the time of enrollment.
  
• Eligible dependents (spouse and children) of enrolled students may enroll in this program.
