Tuition details
Your enrollment is complete when you have
paid your tuition and fees. Calculate your
tuition based on whether you qualify as an Arizona "resident" and the
number of units you will take. If you meet the eligibility requirements and you
have lived in Arizona longer than one year, you may qualify for "resident"
tuition rates. Otherwise, you will be considered "nonresident"
for tuition purposes.
Undergraduate and graduate students wishing to be considered Arizona
residents upon admission need to complete the residency
verification page of the admission application. Undergraduate students who want
to apply as a resident at a later date or who have questions should contact the
registrar's office. Graduate students who intend to apply for Arizona
residency after admission should consult the Graduate
College.
In the spring and fall terms, as a resident
student taking one to six units, you will be charged the per-unit tuition rate,
plus applicable fees. If you enroll in 7 or more units you will be charged the
full-time tuition rate, plus applicable fees. This entitles
undergraduate students to carry up to 18 units and graduate students to carry
up to 16 units.
For Summer and Winter Sessions the tuition
rate is the same for undergraduate, graduate, workshop, or short-term classes
for both in-state and out-of-state residents. Tuition for these terms is
charged per unit; there is no full-time rate.
Use the Tuition Calculator to estimate the
tuition you will need to pay based on your residency and course load
. After you have read about fees, figure out
which ones may apply to you then determine your total estimated costs.
