To audit a course, you must be admitted to NAU. You must complete an Override Authorization Form with the signature of the instructor before being allowed to enroll. Tuition and fees are charged at the regular rates. Regular attendance at all class meetings is your responsibility, but completion of written assignments is not mandatory. A grade of "AU" will be given for satisfactory attendance. Audited courses carry no credit toward the grade point average, toward graduation, or toward meeting professional requirements. Check the calendar for the appropriate term to learn the last day to change from audit to credit or credit to audit.
